Invisible

It has only taken me nearly 15 years to do this.

I bought a little hi-viz tabard for Her Maj. It arrived in the post yesterday and we put it on her immediately.

There was a bit of herrumphing but once I showed BeAnne just how much it cost and told her she looked not dissimilar to Kim Kardashian in a tankini, she soon warmed to the idea.

The New Rule – BeAnne will wear it all day especially as this time of year she is prone to buggering off when no one is looking on her endless search for bunny rabbitses.   And, as Her MaJ is the same colour as most of her surroundings, she can be very difficult to spot.

After nearly 15 years, I am bored of scattering my family to the four corners looking for a slightly moving rock or lump of mud.

And now, after 15 years, we can see where she’s buggering off to!

Meanwhile, the first snowdrops are out and I saw an oyster-catcher on my travels. Spring is considering making an appearance!  Yay.

I love the idea of the highly visible jacket. Is there a way to put a bar code or some kind of chip either in the new highly fashionable jacket or maybe her collar (for when she isn’t wearing the jacket) ? Then in case she and the jacket get separated you can find her with your phone or tablet? She really does blend into the scenery (all the better to be a successful rabbit hunter) 😉
Glad Spring might be thinking about returning, But you know Mother Nature, she has tricks up her sleeve.
Maybe this year she will give up playing poker.
    All the best.

Good for you (and BeAnn) – that’s so important being able to find her quickly (you never know, right?)
Our big dog has a red harness (because she’s not the most obedient of dogs) and people ask if she’s a therapy dog. We explain that we have to use it, because she loves people and will run over to anyone for a scratch and lean…and we suspect if the scratches are to her liking, she just might leave with them. We love her anyway.

A friend with a black Spanish Water dog, put a blinking tag on her collar, so one could find her in the house.
Love the vest on BeAnne even if it does interfer with her sneaking off….
