I know that my current whinge is the fact that we are not having much of a Summer. To be honest, we have had no Summer at all and here in Shetland, I am feeling very hard done by. South, others are basking in heat and sunshine. We are not.
Lambie goes to bed a lot and I understand this. My bones hurt when it is this cold and wet.
Last night, while I was making sheeple, Lambie arrived at my door all cold and miserable. I put a blanket over him and he warmed up feeling much better.
(I think Lambie has more spots this year or is that just me?)
Anywho, today was not much better. A total shitery of a day. Everyone had an opinion about it.
I don’t blame them, to be perfectly honest.
Whine away, it’s totally allowed. Call this summer, I’d be spitting at the weather gods too. Love the word ‘shitery’. Must remember to use it here.
Aw so sorry to hear it but… Lambie in the blanket is everything.
Oh your poor, poor animals….so cold and shivery in the nasty weather. I pray that you will get a warm up soon. Your poor sheep, now without their warm wool to keep them toasty. May things get much better very soon.
I’ll trade you some of my drought and yesterday’s 106F(41C?) in the shade for a bit of your cold and wet! We just have to figure out how the packing and shipping!
And Lambie does look more spotted this year – it makes him even more handsome!
‘the grass is always greener’: I wouldn’t mind trading with you for a week of wet and cold. The sky here in L.A. is constantly blue and the temperature is in the upper nineties – daily. That probably sounds like heaven to you while you’re shivering away in the rain and wind!!!
