Vegetables

After doing all the ponies, sheep, horses, etc I drove off to Turriefield for the last time this year.

We were weighing, packing and labelling veg ready for Christmas.

My job was carrots. I had “a few” carrots to pack up and distribute.

This the stack of  veg going to a shop in Lerwick tomorrow.

The veg boxes were getting fuller and fuller.

Wonderful.  Worth all the effort in my book.

I got back home around lunch time to find the containers were full of little ponies who were thoroughly bored of the weather.

Every time I see a pony in a container, I think this was definitely the right decision.

So I threw them all some unsellable little swedes which they were very happy to scoff down.

I was surprised to see Vitamin and Fivla even having a go – their teeth are not great but they managed.

This time tomorrow…….

For the ponies to take themselves into those containers when you are not around – it’s wonderful and yes, justifies all the hard work & effort (and expense).

    Only one more sleep …..

Yes, is fine. No rush. TY for your prompt reply. I am getting ready to go to barn & feed my spoiled donkey Sam. Then to buy groceries. LOL. Have carrots on my shopping list for Sam. He has metabolic issues & 1 carrot is his only treat. Have a good evening.

How do you find time to help with “vegetables” & take care of your critters? Kudos to you.
p.s. I want to order one of your Lambies! How can I go about ordering, paying for two & covering postage to USA? Would like a black sheep as well as Lambie. If you can email me, please. axela52@hotmail.com Enjoy your Christmas.

Maybe you already said, but could you say where all those lovely veggies are grown? I do appreciate people who can grow food. And thank you for your work getting them boxed and sent on their way.
