I’m so sorry to read this sad news, what a little treasure your dear dog was and thank you for sharing little bits of her life and indomitable spirit with us.

I hope those sheep and horses, and even your cat, are organising themselves a rota to shower kisses and love onto your broken hearts x

I’m so very sorry Frances, and I’m sending you lots of love and peace. I know you were each others world and you did everything you could to keep her comfortable and with a good quality of life, but as you know there comes a point when the only thing left to do is give them an easy goodbye.

I hope that once the initial and and grief passes you can find some peace in knowing you gave her a wonderful life, and remember he with smiles as well as tears.

Like so many others I’ve been dreading this post, holding my breath every time I opened your blog. You may not know pure love if you haven’t loved a dog but by the same token you haven’t known pure sorrow if you haven’t lost one.

Dear Frances, I am so very sad to read your headline today. We all knew this day was coming…but I was hoping it was still a long way off. You were such a good Mum for Her Majesty…..taking her on walking adventures ….letting her scout out the rabbits…always giving her what she needed to live for a few months more. I know very well how hard it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet. You gave her a good life and you can be assured of that. Your good, loving memories will last as long as you do. God Bless You and your family with peace.

My deepest condolences to you on BeAnne’s passing. What a blessing to have had her in your life, and you in hers! Although I never actually met BeAnne, I felt I knew her from your wonderful photos and stories–and I feel her loss all the way across the pond in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where I live now. It’s one of the most dog-friendly towns anywhere. Our very old pup thinks she’s already in Heaven. BeAnne lived in Heaven with you too! xx
