My Christmas Miracle

I never for one minute thought we would still have BeAnne with us.

She is my Christmas miracle and there are no words for just how wonderful it is for us to still have her around.  There have been many very scary moments and yet here we are.

Smelly, old, pottering and definitely doitin’ but still Her Maj. There is definitely enthusiasm for life – mostly if you mention bunnies or ham but we take whatever is offered.

And there are times when BeAnne does her level best to be under feet (turn around and fall over) – horses and people. Sometimes I think she is on a suicide mission.

Another speciality is to ask to go outside, ask to come in, go out, come in, go out, come in…… repeat until you could scream!

We have adapted our lives, our day, our house and our way of living totally around BeAnne.

We can only do our very best.

The determination of this little Patterdale terrier knows no limits.

So Merry Christmas to you all. Today I have the only present I could ever want.

With lots of love from everyone at Thordale xxx

Enjoy her while you can. This is my first Christmas without my beloved wife of 67 years. We often watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” together. And it was!

A very happy Christmas to you all, and a big hug for BeAnne ….. I don’t care if she’s old and smelly, she is very precious, and so deserves all the hugs she can get. xxxx

Merry Christmas Frances. It’s difficult to imagine her Maj being ill. She looks full of energy and fit. Let’s hope for another Christmas with herself.

A very Merry Christmas to you Frances and your family and of course all your critters, especially the very much loved and doted on BeAnne. Lovely to know she is still enjoying life so much. Long may it last. Best wishes for 2021

Having up ended my life more than once for a beloved critter, yes, this is the BEST present ever.
You are shining example of good guardian behavior and love no matter what. A huge hug to BeAnne from New England.

(12/26) Looks like you had the merriest of Christmases: gratitude + good food!

I think all of us who follow you are (almost) as happy/grateful to see BeAnn. (That proves “virtual attachment is a thing, right?) Plus I think it’s the feisty souls who last the longest.

I have to go now, and wipe down my keyboard, since I drooled all over it, after seeing your Yule Log…
