I have a headache. It is an internet one. Everything was running smoothly and going well until the last few days. It is all over the place now. I thought I had everything sorted. I was feeling so pleased (read smug).

And I don’t know if it is us (EE) or them, if you know what I mean.

So I will go off around the house, getting all the extenders in one place, re-setting them and the router with a unravelled paperclip, and see if that makes any difference at all. It couldn’t be much worse.

This does not put me in a good mood.

I am feeling very fed up now (as I am currently writing this of a dodgy phone signal in my shed).
Hence the headache. Life was so much simpler without all this. Why is nothing ever easy?!

How about starlink? You would have to sell more sheep…. At least it would work
EE quoted me £450 to get out their contract
Agree, it gives me a headache too. Life use to be so simple.
When you find out (why is life never easy?), please call immediately. I’m figuring that on my last gasp of breath on this planet, I will have this amazing epiphany & then everything will go black & I’ll expire.
I share your pain – live in an old longhouse, the clue is in the name.
It is LONG.
And the phone line comes in at one end – the wrong end – so I am totally reliant on extenders.
After much trial and error I now use TP-Link ones, which seem to work and be easy to set up BUT they have a shelf life of maybe 2.5/3 years. After which they get unreliable.
I have had weeks like yours – turn everything off, reset, turn on one at a time. But in the end, the best fix is often another Amazon box arriving a couple of days later. good luck.
