Old Photos – Scenery

Today I went through over 1,000 photos this morning.  It seems I have taken a lot of photos – in fact, I still do – and every so often there’s a good ‘un.

This is all from 2013.

Shetland

OH taking Jack on a lead down our track with BeAnne for company.

The view from the bottom of our track, where it meets the road

Sunset over the sea.

St Andrews and its environs

Then back to Shetland – some black and whites with my old  camera which sadly died a few years ago.  I am feeling very nostalgic for that camera today. It was a very good one.  I might have a shot at trying to resurrect it but I have a feeling it may be past working.

I think I was quite a good photographer in my time. i definitely had my moments

I am enjoying the trips down Memory Lane in the previous posts, but the black & white photos in this post are amazing.

Fabulous photos! You could make a book from them. Why not apply to BBC’s The Repair Shop to see if they would mend your old camera? I think it would be an excellent addition to the programme.

I’ve tried everyone – they all say no. It was a simple compact Leica with a superb lens. I liked the shape and everything about it. MIght see if ebay have it.

Yes. You did and still do, have a good eye for capturing an image. What is the body of water where the bottom of the track meets the road?

      The loch of Sung.

“”Loch of Sung” is a small, shallow loch in Shetland, Scotland, that is stocked with brown trout for fishing.”
