Lots of Walking

Thank you for all your messages of support.  Appreciated and they helped hugely.

Anyway, today I did lots of walking. I had to walk to find the Minions. They were far away up the top of a hill, hiding.

Obviously, I had to go to the top to count them all and check everyone was ok – four legs, a head, tail, that sort of thing.

And of course it was worth it the effort.

Fivla and Vitamin were having an “Abba” moment.

“What do you mean you only brought me two small pieces of carrot?”

When home, I walked Ted and we worked on his listening skills.  Definitely work-in-progress and probably will be for the rest of his life and mine.

And then I lugged some hay over for the hungry, neigh starving.

I love Bibble’s silly-frilly.

And I want to get back to working with Klaengur again.

I’m not sure if you saw this, but it was yesterday’s debacle.

Ah, Terriers who are now siblings. The adjustment from pampered singleton to having to share will be fraught with naughty antics and much sulking. As for you – one day at a time. Even one hour at a time. Things will settle down to the new normal. You have a small army of us rooting for you.

Thank you for the Minions and Old Men updates.

I came to your blog this morning thinking “how are you today, Frances?” I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better; I swear there isn’t a better cure for a bad mood than going outside, and hanging out with animals. (my walks with our dog always works wonders).

You know…sometimes just seeing your animal family like the terrific photos today, just upps my mood!

That young lady is definitely cruising for a bruising . . . is it only a matter of time before Monster whacks her very hard with claws out, and do you think she will learn?

As for Mr Ted, to be honest I’d be pleased if he was pushing his boundaries. I would take that as a sign he is relaxing in his new home. However, I am sure you have already explained that the sympathy vote will only take him so far, and that you are the pack Alpha and his life will be immeasurably simpler once he accepts that

Monster’s doing a good job of teaching Pepper some manners! Terriers have their moments – two together will either be really good fun or the stuff of nightmares! A session with the minnions will be good for the soul!

Isn’t it wonderful how restoring a walk is. I find putting hands in the garden soil just as good. Onwards and upwards Frances, we’re here supporting you and your family

May your future strides be light and full of hope.
