This is Teddy

We arrived safely at my mother’s this afternoon after two fairly peaceful and easy flights.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Mum’s new dog, Teddy.

You may remember Mum’s previous dog, Pip, the wonderful black Patterdale terrier.  Tragically he died a few months back of a horrid disease that takes no prisoners. Life is not fair. Distraught, we found Mum little Teddy.

Methinks there is Yorkshire terrier in this dog plus a few others too.

Teddy has a wonderful little personality with huge ears – now, who do those belong to?

Anyway, as I type this with two fingers on my iPad, Teddy is busy charmingly us all.

I mean what is not to love though he does bark at just about everything!  The invisible burglars all run away.

Teddy looks so sweet. I’m sure he’ll be good company for your mother. Sorry to hear about Pip. He looked like a lovely, fun dog in your pics.

Kudos to you for getting your mom a new dog (and so quickly). I can only imagine how much joy, love, and comfort Teddy is bringing your mom. He’s absolutely adorable!

He’s an adorable little being! Of course I think that because, other than color, he could be a brother to my fella “Mac”. Mac is silvery when his hair is long and almost black when he gets his summer ‘do’ but if you saw his face next to Teddy’s they could be twins. I was told he was schnauzer/poodle but there’s some fawn coloring on him so suspect a bit of yorkie too. I’m sure he’ll help ease your mom’s sadness.

Almost didn’t check your blog today since you said you’d be incommunicado for a few days — but, lo and behold, this wonderful post about Teddy! So sorry to hear about darling Pip — you gave him many lovely walks, and I’m sure he had a wonderful life with your mother. Have fun during your stay with this new furry creature!

Sorry to hear about Pip. But Teddy looks like he is up for the job. And “Alien hunting” is a grand skill to have.
Bet Her Maj would be in quite a huff over these pictures.
