Like so many others I’ve been dreading this post, holding my breath every time I opened your blog. You may not know pure love if you haven’t loved a dog but by the same token you haven’t known pure sorrow if you haven’t lost one.
Sniffle.
Dear Frances, I am so very sad to read your headline today. We all knew this day was coming…but I was hoping it was still a long way off. You were such a good Mum for Her Majesty…..taking her on walking adventures ….letting her scout out the rabbits…always giving her what she needed to live for a few months more. I know very well how hard it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet. You gave her a good life and you can be assured of that. Your good, loving memories will last as long as you do. God Bless You and your family with peace.
So sorry for your loss, she will be so missed but was lucky to have you all and a lifetime of love.
So very sorry Francis to hear Beanne has left you and your family…what a dear wee dog. She had my heart the first time I saw her sleeping/riding on the back of one of your horses. Peace to you and your family in these days of memories and sorrow…Yvonne

My heart aches for you, Frances. I’ve been where you are, and the grief runs so deep. I hope you can find some solace knowing you gave her the best life you could, and from your many, many photos it’s so apparent she had a wonderful life.
My deepest condolences to you on BeAnne’s passing. What a blessing to have had her in your life, and you in hers! Although I never actually met BeAnne, I felt I knew her from your wonderful photos and stories–and I feel her loss all the way across the pond in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where I live now. It’s one of the most dog-friendly towns anywhere. Our very old pup thinks she’s already in Heaven. BeAnne lived in Heaven with you too! xx
