The weather is going to disintegrate tomorrow and snow and a fierce gale are forecast, plus windchill of -12 Celsius. Not fun.
I don’t want to bring the Icelandics inside as they hate it (whites of eyes and endless panic), so I put rugs on them all to keep off the worst of the weather.
And then I drove swiftly to Lerwick to get another round bale of hay because it is always useful.
Home, and everyone was happily eating, wearing what looks like their school uniform! At least they are easy to spot in their field.
Wish us all luck! The next few days may not be much fun.
-12 windchill?
That’s not fun for anyone, will the rest of the Thordale crew come into the containers / sheds / their choice of luxury accommodation?
The old ladies and Tiddles will stay in their shed tomorrow. The other four fatties will have their containers and haynets.
Stay warm! I watching Billy and Molly and thinking of you and yours!
I’m hoping it’s not too bad tomorrow down here in north east England. I’m having some hay delivered and I don’t want it to get wet on the way. The forecast for you is seriously depressing. I hope it’s not as bad as thhe forecast. Fingers crossed for you.
They look like they’re all House Gryffindor!
hoping the gale doesn’t deliver as predicted. Otherwise fingers crossed , keeping you in thoughts and prayers. The ancients do look like graduates in their uniforms, just need the hoods and tassel hats/tams 😉
I hope you are all safe and wish you a happy 2025!
