My Therapy

My life is truly bad. I don’t want to talk about it really and I don’t know what to do.  Whatever my best is, it just isn’t enough.  I am letting Haakon down.  Watching him in pain is destroying me (and him).

This afternoon, Floss and I went to chat with the Minions.  I need distracting and luckily Albie, Storm and Newt were happy to oblige.

The others ate their carrots and got on with what they wanted to do – eat.  I sat on a rock and waited to see who wanted to talk.

The boys stood around me and I dished out the kisses.

Honestly, there is nothing better.

Their support and love is wonderful.

Newt was extra snuggly.

He made me smile when very little does.

And he posed for a selfie.

Meanwhile Storm was treating Floss and her coat like an Activity Centre.

There is something about Floss’ coat – it attracts small ponies.  We decided Storm was chanting “why are you hitting yourself, why are you hitting yourself” like an annoying little brother.

I need my MInions.  They help.

So sorry he is feeling low. I have been there myself so understand how helpless you feel, hope he picks up.

It’s no wonder you’re feeling so low, Frances. Nothing worse than seeing your animals struggling and not having the ability to change the situation quickly. I hope the vet can help. And I hope Monster is feeling better. xx

You will find the strength to do what needs to be done. He’s got the best human looking after him and you will do what’s best for him. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and sending you all the love and strength that I can. Love to you all x

It’s so hard when your beloved friend is in pain. I hope you get good news from the vet. Haakon is lucky to have such a caring human.

I think it was Lucy, in the Peanuts comic strip, who said “Happiness is a warm puppy.” In your case, happiness seems to be found in your warm Minions and your beloved Beanne, as wells as your loving family. Wishing you the best as you deal with your emotional and physical pain. Good thoughts (and prayers) going up in your behalf (and Haakon’s).

Dear Frances, I know what you are going through. I have been there myself with my dearest Icelandic Glaesir. Hope all will be well. Just keep cuddling that little demon Newt.

Your love for Haakon comes through with every post you write about him, and you’ll always do what’s best for him because of that love. He has always been there for you and now it’s your turn to be there for him. Sending you a big virtual hug.

Dear Frances, that first pic really scared me. I know that doesn’t help you feel any better. When is the Vet coming to check your dear Haakon out again? I know that you have a good feel for what’s normal and not normal for each of your four-legged friends. thank goodness you can get some loving from those darling minions of yours. I’m praying that the vet will figure out what’s going on with your beloved Haakon and very soon. Peace to you if you can find a little Frances.

The photo of Haakon made me very sad. Sending healing vibes to him and to you too. Nothing to do but wait with your Minion helpers. I’m thankful they can cheer you up. x

This is one of those times where a Universal Translator would help. Sorry Haakon is still not felling better. He is a Grand Gent. But those Minions are delightful! LOVE the selfie with Newt and Storm being the brother he thinks yours girls need. The Maine Coons send love and purrs to Haakon, Monster and you.
