BeAnne has always been a water dog so, as it was such a nice afternoon, we all went down to the burn in the field. We even took some bits of wood to throw in.
Which she duly brought back.
She had a little swim and then a lovely roll.
Two of the Muscovy ducks had finally found the burn, which is quite an achievement in itself as it is a long walk down the hill and back. They were very happy splashing around.
We heard some shouting and turned around to see who was following.
Monster is a very strange cat.
He did a lot of this sort of thing.
And we all laughed with him, not at him.
Monster and BeAnne are good friends, sometimes.
We asked Monster to sit in the daffodils and look pretty, so he did!
And then he looked weird again.
We asked BeAnne too.
So she just looked like not herself really.
Still, it was nice to sit on a rock in the Spring sunshine with our strange little family.
Oh Frances I love your accounts of your “strange little family”. Thank you so much for brightening the day with animal antics and daffodils.
At least Beanne is still interested in going into the water, that’s a good sign. You are doing the best you can regarding her health , small steps remember.
I love the jumping cat and the cat looking away from the camera while sitting in the daffodils. Excellent capture of how a cat is. Thank you. Today we have cold wind with occasional snowflakes and daffodils that are trying to be very brave.
Beautiful, just beautiful. I so look forward to your stories and photos!
Wow! Not only is Monster beautiful, he is a super athlete with extreme grace! I am totally impressed! Just how does a plain white cat without any cool stripes manage to pull all of this off?
Wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful pictures ….. I especially love the daffodil pictures with your beautiful pets! Thanks so much.
You hit the cat jackpot when you adopted Monster.
