A Perfect Afternoon

This afternoon we went down to see the Icelandic horse foals.

First up there is Lilja, who is our enchanting little filly.

And then there is Dreki, our solid colt foal.

 

(we teach them early about nose kisseys)

Some days, you don’t actually need the written word.  The photos speak for themselves.

Heaven.

    Stunning photographs, Frances! How tall will the babies be when they’re fully grown (approximately)? I love Daisy’s sweater – noticed it in a previous post. Looks very useful.

    The photos do indeed speak for themselves!

    I love the “tintype” of the photos (do I have right?) I took Photography in high school and loved doing prints in “sepia toned” paper…

        Ah, that fits what I’m seeing; my sepia-toned photos were “browner” – I like the softer effect of yours…
