A Good Day

Huzzah – we have flowers in the garden.

And things are beginning to think about growing.

It was such a lovely day today.  The sun shone in the clear blue skies.

The same crocuses, after just a few hours of sunshine. Aren’t they glorious?  For me, tis the little things.  This makes me happy.

The Shetland ponies seemed a little brighter too.  Floss took off Tiddles’ rug (on/off/on/off) and they all slept in the glorious sunshine.

I am trying to do a little bit more every day, so I went into my shed to make a sheep (and watch Anne with an E – brilliant series, I highly recommend).  My back aches a bit now, though.

I made one more sheep for the shop.

He will join the others.

And look, as I type this while resting on my bed after all my efforts, Pepper is still with me.  So this constitutes a good day – the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and Pepper hasn’t run away….. yet.

And the main reason Pepper didn’t run away was because she was escorted everywhere (Teddy is always happy to tell tales) and the catflap was locked shut. Poor Monster had to ask to go outside.

Don’t feel sorry for Pepper – the tea-towel fell on her ↓
