It’s been ten whole years. All day I have been going back in my head seeing what happened, what we did and why.
I love the boys to bits but it’s not been easy. It never is. I made enemies and confrontation, which I hate. I also achieved first name terms with my Bank Manager! The ponies taught me so much. I am grateful to them for that.
So Happy Gotcha Day – Storm, Waffle and Silver. You still make me laugh and worry in equal parts.
Photo – in thinner, younger days
I hope they are glad they are here. I tell myself they are.
Wow I remember when you rescued them, I guess that means I’ve been following your blog for a very long time !
And yes I’m sure they’re very happy (and very lucky).
They are very glad they are with you!!!
Really been 10 yrs of your blog? I am grateful you did go and rescue this bunch and all the others that also needed love and home. Pshaw to those who did like what you did, you put the needs of the animal first. So well done you and the entire family.
I have absolutely no doubt that if they could talk they would express their gratitude for the love and care they’ve had since they’ve been with you. They were so lucky to ened up with you. (As are the others who have joined them since.)
Wow….what memories from ten years ago. God bless you and all the good you have done for them all. Youi can be sure they are very happy that you rescued them.
I am new to your blog Frances and know nothing about any horses but I do know that the photos show
how healthy and content they all are.We can all see how glad all the boys and girls are to be with you.
You,Pepper,Floss and others who help now and then are all doing a great job and long may you keep
well to be able to continue.
Chris
