I’m sorry but today I can’t actually speak or write anything. I have nothing. It has been terrible. We are moving Mum to a private nursing home tomorrow.

I’m sorry you’re going through such a difficult time. Many hugs from far away. I’m thinking about you.
I’ll always stop by Frances to enjoy whatever you post. You’re my first stop every morning.
Thinking of you and yours; wishing you all well.
Sending love xx
Sending hugs and even though we have never met, here if you need me. ❤️
Thinking of you constantly…..
Best thoughts. Love to you and yours.
Oh Frances, I’m so sorry. I’ll take a chance and say you have a whole lot of us thinking of you, and sending virtual hugs…
All my best wishes are with you and your family, not forgetting little Ted. He needs lots of cuddles too. ❤️
I am so sorry Frances, We were in the same position with my Mum and know how difficult it is.
I’m so sorry to read this, Frances. I can only begin to imagine the implications for your mum and indeed for you and your sister (and Ted, who must be missing her as much as she will be missing him). You’ll be very much in my thoughts.
Really feeling for you, Frances. It’s such a momentous decision, but I’m sure made very carefully. Sending you much love xx
I’m so sorry Frances. Reading between the lines, I was half expecting that this was the bittersweet reason behind your extended stay. The sword of Damocles hangs over all of us with ageing relatives, parents, and in some cases, partners.
Thank goodness you have Floss for support, and Ted for cuddles. Thinking of you, and sending love.
Dear Frances, I have been where I think you are & I know how hard this time is for you. Please accept any offers of help even if you think you might not need it. Your have all the love & support I can offer from so far away. So glad you have your family & Ted to help you. Take good care of yourself. Will keep you in my thoughts & prayers.
Much love, Leslie in SD, USA

Sending cold noses and wagging tails to hold you tight.
Not easy, but necessary. You’ve done well!
I am so sorry that this is happening. I can only guess how painful it is. sending positive thoughts from across the world
Sending hugs to you in this hardest of times.
Sending you love and light. Remember all the good things in your life—the people, the animals, your Shetland home. It doesn’t change what’s happening, but it helps get you through the difficult days.
I’m so very sorry to hear this news Frances. Praying that your Mum will do well at the nursing home and praying for you and your family to be able to deal with this news as well as possible, for her and for you. Life can be so hard, especially when it comes to those we love. Know that we are all praying for you and thinking of you during these very hard days.
Thinking of you and sending you virtual hugs!
Best wishes at this difficult time
I am so sorry, assume things have got worse with mum….so difficult, been there doing that
I echo all the above Frances. Must be such a difficult decision but expert help and care must be the best and right way to go. Struggling with my elderly parents now and am dreading the future. Take good care of yourself. Sending love from Cheshire.
So very sorry. Thinking of you always.
I am so sorry to hear this news. Hugs from New England. Wish I could be there to help.
